AS FAR secured their place in the CAF Champions League semi-finals with a good away performance in Cairo, overcoming Pyramids FC in the decisive second leg of their quarter-final tie.

The Moroccan side delivered a composed display on Egyptian soil, building on a balanced first-leg result to seal qualification. AS FAR had drawn 1–1 at home, leaving everything to play for in the return leg in Cairo.

Slim opened the scoring early in the ninth minute, giving the visitors immediate control of the tie. Hrimat then doubled the advantage in the 54th minute, putting the result beyond doubt and confirming AS FAR’s progression to the final four.

Playing away in Cairo is traditionally one of the toughest challenges in African club football, but AS FAR showed discipline and efficiency to manage the occasion.

Their early goal allowed them to dictate the tempo, while the second-half strike ensured there would be no late comeback from the Egyptian side. The result highlights the growing competitiveness of Moroccan clubs on the continental stage.
