Egypt will start their AFCON 2025 run with a Group B opener against Zimbabwe on Monday.

The game kicks off at 9:00 p.m. Moroccan time at Adrar Stadium, Agadir, and will be broadcasted live by Arryadia TV and beIN Sports.

For fans who are looking for a lively experience, AFCON 2025 will feature official fan zones in several Moroccan cities, including Marrakech, Agadir, and Rabat.

Egypt and Zimbabwe have been drawn in Group B alongside South Africa and Angola with all teams eager to secure a place in the next round.

The Pharaohs are the most successful team in AFCON history, with seven titles, 26 tournament appearances, and 10 final appearances. They have a streak of three consecutive titles in 2006, 2008, and 2010.

The Egyptian side topped the qualifying group unbeaten with five wins and one draw.

On the other hand, Zimbabwe’s first appearance was in 2004, and they returned after missing the 2023 edition, marking their sixth appearance in AFCON.

They have entered the tournament weakened by injuries, aiming to progress beyond the group stage for the first time in their history.

Zimbabwe have played 15 matches in their AFCON history, winning three, drawing two and losing ten.

Considering Egypt’s unbeaten qualification run and Zimbabwe’s struggles with injuries, the predicted scoreline leans toward a comfortable Egyptian win.

    Predicted Score: Egypt 2 – 0 Zimbabwe.
