Royal Air Maroc Unveils Aircraft Featuring Portraits of Atlas Lions Stars

Royal Air Maroc has unveiled a beautiful new plane livery that puts a few of Morocco’s international stars centre stage, as a build-up for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025. The design shows big portraits of Achraf Hakimi, Yassine Bounou, Brahim Díaz, Bilal El Khannouss and Youssef En-Nesyri, making one of the airline’s planes a flying tribute to the national team.

The reveal comes just a month before Morocco hosts the tournament, which is taking place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, and then marks the second pretty eye-catching plane introduced by RAM this month. Earlier in November, the first plane was all in the official colours of the AFCON 2025, and now this new livery is shifting the focus onto the players they who will be leading the national team’s charge.

A partnership that goes beyond branding

This is part of RAM’s overall push with African football following the big strategic agreement they signed back in April with the Confederation of African Football (CAF). That turned RAM into a Global Official Partner for all the major CAF competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations for men and women, all the youth tournaments and club finals. As part of that deal, the airline is getting ready to run more flights – and with more frequencies to key destinations in Africa – to get fans and all the rest of the tournament essentials to where they need to go.

The plane tribute is also part of the country’s build-up to hosting the competition. RAM put some of the faces of the Atlas Lions front and centre, showing just how much they are committed to Morocco’s sporting ambitions and adding a bit to the whole visual identity around the biggest sporting event of the year in Africa.
