Rabat – FUS Rabat put an end to Club Africain, after an unbeaten run in the 2026 Sahara Conference in Rabat, winning 71–68.
The game featured a back-and-forth battle for the full 40 minutes before FUS Rabat secured the win. With this victory, the Moroccan side improved their record to 3–1, while the Tunisians remained at the top of the standings with a 4–1 record.
Kuany Atem Kuany led FUS Rabat with 20 points, heading a group of four players who scored at least 10 points each. Ayoub Nouhi added 15, while Mouhamadou Diagne controlled the game near the basket with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Anthony Pritchard also played a key role off the bench, adding 10 points and 4 rebounds to help secure the win.
FUS Rabat outscored Club Africain 7–5 in the closing five minutes, igniting the packed arena and sending the home crowd into a wild excitement.
The Moroccan team secured a spot among the four teams qualified for the finals in Kigali, Rwanda, from May 22 to May 31, with a new experience ahead for the continental trophy.
FUS Rabat will return to action this Sunday, May 3, taking on the Egyptian side Al Ahly, which will aim to elevate their record, allowing them to leapfrog Club Africain to claim first place in the Sahara Conference standings.
