Rabat– The Military Housing and Equipment Agency (ALEM) held a board of directors meeting on Thursday under Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of National Defense, acting on behalf of Head of Government Aziz Ackhannouch as President of the ALEM Board.

The session focused on reviewing key agenda items, including the 2025 performance report, adoption of the 2026-2028 action plan, and approval of the 2026 budget, according to a statement from the National Defense Administration.

In his opening remarks, Loudyi highlighted the importance of ALEM’s achievements in 2025 and praised the efforts made to implement the agency’s strategic directives. He emphasized the need to consolidate these gains and enhance the impact of initiatives serving members of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), in line with the directives of King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and General Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

The Board reviewed a detailed report on the agency’s 2025 accomplishments, noting significant progress in housing projects, military infrastructure development, and the agency’s active role in addressing unregulated housing.

During the year, ALEM provided direct support to over 4,000 new homebuyers, bringing the total number of beneficiaries under this ownership support program to nearly 52,000 eligible individuals. Additionally, 1,300 households living in substandard housing on military land received assistance through a coordinated social initiative, while approximately 5,300 housing units were made available for sale to the agency’s clients.

The Board also examined the 2026-2028 strategic action plan, which focuses on investment in housing and military infrastructure projects, continuation of direct support programs, and completion of land development works under the “CHOUHADA” operation.

Finally, the Council approved the agency’s 2025 annual accounts, the 2026 budget, and the investment plan for 2026-2028, ensuring continued progress on housing and infrastructure initiatives for the Royal Armed Forces.

The meeting concluded with a message of loyalty and allegiance to King Mohammed VI, reflecting the agency’s commitment to the sovereign and its mission.
