Rabat – Viral footage captured a shocking and brutal attack in Kenitra’s industrial zone, in which a man violently struck another professional driver on the head with a large stick.

The victim, who appeared only to be speaking and did not engage in any physical aggression, was knocked to the ground and remained motionless.

Fellow drivers rushed to the scene after the attack, creating an atmosphere of fear, frustration, and deep concern over how a minor traffic dispute escalated into such a dangerously violent incident.

Authorities have yet to issue a statement clarifying the circumstances, providing more information about the assailant as well as the condition of the victim’s health.

Reports indicate that the incident began as a minor traffic disagreement, but later escalated into an argument before turning into a physical assault in front of several witnesses.

According to the police’s annual report, Morocco recorded a total 779,000 criminal offenses last year.

The Moroccan national security report said violent crimes were down by 10%, but that the crime clearance rate stood at 95%.
