Xiaomi Expands Morocco Lineup With REDMI Note 15 Series

Mohammedia – Xiaomi has rolled out its new REDMI Note 15 series in Morocco, adding three models to its smartphone range as it continues to target the mid-range market. The lineup includes the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, the REDMI Note 15 Pro, and the REDMI Note 15, all of which are now on sale locally.

The company has focused this release on practical upgrades rather than design changes, with battery capacity and device strength taking priority.

The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G comes with a 6,500mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging, while the other models in the series also feature high-capacity batteries intended to last a full day of heavy use.

Xiaomi says the Pro versions are designed to maintain battery performance over time, a concern for many users who keep their phones for several years.

Durability is another area where the company has introduced changes. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G uses reinforced materials and protective glass designed to reduce damage from drops. It also carries multiple water and dust resistance ratings, allowing it to be used in conditions that would typically pose problems for smartphones in this price range.

The device supports touch input even when the screen is wet, which is aimed at improving everyday usability rather than extreme use cases.

The company has also upgraded hardware across the series. The Pro+ model features a 200-megapixel main camera with optical zoom options, while the standard REDMI Note 15 is equipped with a 108-megapixel sensor.

The phones rely on artificial intelligence for image processing and include built-in tools such as Google’s Circle to Search.

Performance is handled by Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets, depending on the model, and all three devices use AMOLED displays with high brightness levels intended to improve visibility outdoors.

Xiaomi has steadily expanded its presence in Morocco over recent years by offering devices that combine competitive pricing with strong specifications.

The REDMI Note range has been central to that strategy, particularly among younger consumers and users looking for alternatives to more expensive brands.

In the Moroccan market, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is priced from MAD 4,199, the REDMI Note 15 Pro from MAD 2,999, and the REDMI Note 15 from MAD 2,039. The series gives consumers several options at different price points, at a time when demand for durable, long-lasting smartphones continues to grow.

The new rollout comes as Xiaomi is expanding its presence in the country after choosing Casablanca as its first African store location in October 2025, signaling a deeper commitment to the Moroccan market.
