Teen star’s injury leaves Flick searching for solutions on the right wing

Will Yamal Recover in Time? Barcelona Face Nervous Wait Before Newcastle

Barcelona are set to start their Champions league campaign against Newcastle without teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.

According to MARCA coach Hansi Flick’s already ruled the youngster out unless he makes “miraculous” recovery in the final hours before kick off.

Yamal missed training on Monday working only in the gym after suffering hip injury during international duty with Spain.

The setback already forced him to miss Barcelona’s La liga clash with Valencia and reignited Flick’s criticism of Spain’s medical staff.

The absence of Yamal, alongside Alejandro Balde & Gavi, creates fresh problems for Flick.

Although Frenkie de Jong returns, the right wing role’s expected to fall to Raphinha who impressed with 2 goal after replacing Yamal against Valencia.

On the left, Marcus Rashford’s likely to start bringing his Premier League experience against the English opposition.
