Rabat — Today is the day! Only several hours until the much-anticipated Morocco vs Senegal AFCON final — an event that is giving every Moroccan and also Senegalese fans a thrill.

The Atlas Lions will play the final game at 8 p.m. at Rabat’s Moulay Abdellah Stadium, which served as the shiny new canvas that created the best memories for the squad throughout their AFCON 2025 journey.

Both teams will compete to clinch their second trophy in the history of the tournament. Morocco secured its first AFCON title in 1976, while Senegal secured their first in 2021.

The tournament finale is expected to bring a legacy not only to the winner but also to Morocco, which has received international recognition for its excellent hosting.

“It is a night of continental pride and relentless pursuit of glory,” the Confederation of African Football (CAF) wrote.

Head Coach Walid Regragui said his team is ready to roar. However, in a pre-match press conference, Regragui emphasized that as a host, Morocco faces pressure.

“For us, the key factor will be managing emotions. My only fear is not playing freely, putting too much pressure on ourselves, and starting to think negatively,” Regragui said.

If you weren’t able to buy your ticket to the stadium, you can watch the game in a cafe or at home. Morocco’s Arriyadia will broadcast the game. International streamers and TV channels like beIN Sports will also air the game, alongside FanCode, and Channel 4 in the UK.

Morocco’s lineup is expected to include the usual tournament stars like Yassine Bounou, Achraf Hakimi, Nayf Aguerd, Adam Masina, Noussair Mazraoui, El Aynanoui, Ismail Saibari, and Brahim Diaz.

Senegal’s squad could include Mendy, Diatta, Koulibaly Diouf, Diarra, Gueye, Ndiaye, Mane, and Jackson.

As all fans watching this dynamic continental showdown know, the AFCON is unpredictable, and so it is certainly hard to predict the winner.

But in Morocco, fans are determined and confident that Walid Regragui and his Atlas Lions can make history tonight, given their spectacular and outstanding performances throughout the tournament, especially the last two games against Nigeria and Cameroon.

Go Atlas Lions and Dima Maghreb!
