The Oman Football Association (OFA) has officially appointed Moroccan coach Tarik Sektioui as the new head coach of the Oman national team, following the departure of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz.
Sektioui resigned from his role with the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) yesterday, bringing to an end a very successful period with Morocco’s national teams. His achievements include leading the Moroccan “A” team to victory at the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar and guiding the Moroccan Olympic team to a historic bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
