Sahraoui Back in Lille after Injury Absence

Rabat – Osame Sahraoui has officially returned to full training with LOSC Lille after nearly three months out, following his pubis injury in January.

The Lille squad shared a video on X on Friday, welcoming the Moroccan winger back to group training, while celebrating with applause and a small guard of honor.

Before his injury, the Moroccan international featured in 23 matches for Lille across all competitions, scoring once and providing two assists.

The 24-year-old has been struggling with ongoing pubis pain since February 2025, a problem that continued despite medical care and periods of rest.

The discomfort eventually went to the point where surgery became unavoidable, forcing the player to step away from competition in January 2026.

This absence stretched over nearly three months, during which he missed 15 matches and underwent a demanding rehabilitation program.

Lille are currently fighting in the upper half of Ligue 1, sitting in fifth place with 47 points after 27 matches.

Sahraoui’s return gives the team a boost as they fight for a top-four spot, just two points away from qualifying for the Champions League at this key stage of the season.
