Rabat – Al-Nasser are reportedly planning on promoting Cristiano Ronaldo Jr to the first team, following a standout campaign in the club’s youth academy, according to Al Wiam.
“Al Nassr are considering to bring Cristiano Ronaldo Jr with the first team in training from next season,” Fabrizio Romano wrote on X on Tuesday.
“He’s turning 16 in June and Al Nassr are closely monitoring his development + best options for his pathway.”
The 15-year-old has enjoyed a dominant 2025/26 campaign, recently making headlines with a standout hat-trick for Al Nassr’s U-16 side.
Ronaldo Jr’s domestic success has been mirrored on the international stage, where he helped lead Portugal to victory in the Algarve International Tournament this past February.
Standing at 1.87m and displaying his father’s clinical finishing, the young forward has consistently outperformed his age group in Riyadh. His technical growth and physical maturity have now convinced club officials that he is ready to begin the transition toward senior professional football.
Following his father’s career, Cristiano Jr. has trained at top football academies, including Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United. Now at Al Nassr, he is proving himself as one of the most promising young prospects in the game.
His stats are remarkable, including 58 goals in 23 games for Juventus U-9s and 56 goals in 27 matches for Al Nassr’s U-15s.
Integrating Cristiano Jr into the first team would create a historic opportunity for him to share the pitch with his father, who remains the cornerstone of Al Nassr’s senior squad. But the plan remains unsure, as club officials still need to determine if his technical skills are sharp enough for the demands of senior-level football.
