Royal Air Maroc Suspends Flights to Dubai and Doha Until April 15 Royal Air Maroc Suspends Flights to Dubai and Doha Until April 15

Rabat – Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, has announced the suspension of its flights to and from Dubai and Doha until April 15, citing the ongoing security situation in the Middle East.

The airline said in a statement that its teams remain “fully mobilized” and are closely monitoring developments to ensure a safe resumption of operations once conditions allow.

The company urged affected passengers not to go to the airport. Instead, it advised travelers to contact the airline’s call center or the original point of purchase for assistance. Royal Air Maroc also encouraged customers to regularly check their flight status and update their contact details on its website.

The decision comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East following a sharp military confrontation involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. The crisis began after joint strikes from the US and Israel targeted Iran during a period when diplomatic talks were still ongoing.

The attacks killed high ranking officials, including Iran’s supreme leader, in addition to high ranking military commanders.

In response, Iran launched retaliatory actions across the region, including strikes on Israel and Gulf countries. This prompted several international airlines to suspend or reroute flights to avoid high-risk zones.

The Gulf region, home to major global transit hubs such as Dubai, Doha, and Riyadh, plays a critical role in international air travel. Any disruption in this area has immediate ripple effects on global aviation networks.
