Royal Air Maroc Announces More Canceled Flights To, From Dubai and Qatar

Rabat – Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc has announced that it canceled more flights to and from Qatar and Dubai today and on Tuesday.

The decision comes as multiple countries across the Middle East are closing their airspaces due to the ongoing conflict between Israel, the US, and Iran. Escalations hit their peak on Saturday when the US and Israel struck Iran and killed Supreme Leader Khamenei.

UAE canceled flights include trips AT246 and AT247 scheduled on March 3 to and from Dubai.

As for Qatar, Royal Air Maroc canceled flights AT216 and AT217 scheduled for today to and from the Gulf country.

The Moroccan carrier, in addition to many other companies, has been canceling flights since the strike as tensions continue to increase.

Royal Air Maroc has been advising its passengers to continue checking the status of their flights, emphasizing that it will resume its regular trips once it’s safe.

The situation remains tense, with Trump vowing that the attack against Iran will continue until all US objectives are achieved.

Israel bombed Lebanon’s capital, Beirut today, killing more than 30 people in targets towards Hezbollah, who delivered a rocket strike on a Haifa military base in retaliation for the killing of Khamenei.

Meanwhile, Iran continues to attack Israel and US assets in the Gulf.

Concerns mount as world leaders are urging calm and a ceasefire.

Vladimir Putin reiterated the call for an immediate ceasefire between Iran, the US, and Israel.

He made his statement during a phone call with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Putin described the situation as tragic, condemning military action against Iran as an “unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign UN member state.”

For his part, the UAE President emphasized that Iran is attacking his country, despite not being involved in attacks against Tehran.
