Qatar Confirms it is Not in Talks with Tehran

Rabat – Qatar has expressed concerns over the Israel-US-Iranian war, confirming there is no communication with Iran.

Qatar’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said the country’s stockpile of interceptor missiles has not run out, emphasizing that the Gulf state is fully prepared and has enough to tackle any ongoing Iranian threat.

“Such attacks will not go unanswered,” the ministry said.

The remarks come as Iran continues to attack US and Israeli assets in the Gulf in a retaliation operation following Washington-Tel Aviv attacks on Saturday.

The Iranian Red Crescent announced the death toll from ongoing war reached 787 as of Tuesday.

The same source confirmed that 153 cities across Iran are affected by Israeli-US attacks, hitting over 500 locations.

Russia sees the US and Israeli attacks as unjustified, saying there is “no evidence” Iran was developing nuclear weapons.

The US vowed to continue attacking Iran, with Tehran promising retaliatory operations to “stand against the evil.”

“They must stop the war. We did not start it. Our choice was diplomacy… The international community must decide to fulfill its responsibility before it is too late,” the Iranian foreign affairs ministry spokesman said.

For Esmaeil Bagahei, US and Israeli attacks “will engulf the entire world.”

Qatar stressed that Iranian targets are not just military but are affecting all of the country’s territory, citing failed attempts to attack Hamad International Airport.

Meanwhile, Bahrain said it destroyed 73 missiles and 91 drones launched by Iran since the start of the war.

Today, the UAE reported that Iranian attacks killed three and injured 68 others across the country.

Overall, the UAE reported that Iran launched 186 missiles against the Gulf countries, with 172 of them destroyed and 13 of them in the sea.

One missile landed on its territory while 812 Iranian drones were monitored, and 755 of the drones were intercepted.
