Rabat — The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is set to stage its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) championship finals in Al Khobar this December, bringing elite mixed martial arts (MMA) action to the heart of the Gulf region.

The PFL MENA Finals: All or Nothing will take place on December 5 at Dhahran Expo as a marquee attraction within Khobar Season.

The Sharqiya Development Authority, working alongside Ithra and the Saudi Tourism Authority, has organized Khobar Season 2025 to celebrate culture, innovation, and community while positioning the Eastern Province as a premier destination for world-class entertainment.

Championship gold awaits fighters in four weight divisions — Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight — with athletes from across the Middle East and North Africa ready to battle for glory.

“Khobar is the perfect location for our Finals,” said Jerome Mazet, PFL MENA General Manager. “It sits at the crossroads of the GCC, with Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, and Riyadh all just a few hours away, making it the ideal setting for our season finale.”

The location strengthens connections between Gulf nations, drawing fans from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates to share in the excitement.

    Championship showdowns

Morocco’s Badreddine “Dreamchaser” Diani (10-3) faces Kuwait’s Mohammad Alaqraa (9-1) in the main event for the PFL MENA Welterweight Championship. The co-main event pits two undefeated fighters against each other: Morocco’s Salah Eddine “Supersalah” Hamli (10-0) squares off with Iraq’s Mohammad “Soulkeeper” Fahmi (6-0) for the Lightweight title.

Saudi Arabia’s Hattan Alsaif will make her professional MMA debut against Egypt’s Haidy Ahmed (2-1), adding local excitement to the international card.

The finals cap off a season that has featured regional talent and elevated the sport’s profile across the MENA. The event blends athletic competition with cultural celebration, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a global sports destination.

Fans can purchase tickets now, while viewers across the MENA region can watch for free on the STARZPLAY app. US audiences can tune in on Vice TV or the PFL app.

The partnership between PFL MENA and Khobar Season signals a commitment to building lasting connections across the region while delivering first-class sporting entertainment to Gulf audiences.
