Rabat – Morocco is set to host the second edition of the Short Stature World Cup later this year, bringing together 24 teams across the world between November 20 and 30.

This decision comes after the Moroccan Association of Short Stature submitted a request to the International Federation of Short Stature to organize this global event, following approval from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Football.

In addition to the host country, the tournament will feature a diverse lineup of 23 countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Mexico, Chile, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Japan, Colombia, Peru, France, Spain, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Jordan, Guatemala, Syria, Sudan and Togo.

With this latest hosting role, Morocco is once again strengthening its reputation as a hub for major sporting events. The country has successfully hosted several continental and international tournaments in the past few years, highlighting its strong infrastructure and commitment to sports development.

The Moroccan national team for short stature previously competed in the first edition of the World Cup in Argentina, where it finished in fifth place.
