Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter will be the focus of a global campaign by adidas Football with a series of videos.

    • Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick Travis Hunter is featured in a new adidas Football campaign.
    • Adidas aims to showcase Hunter’s personal style and interests beyond football.
    • The campaign will include future videos and content featuring Hunter.

It’s a simple, even homespun video.

Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick Travis Hunter is seen driving a battered yellow and white truck, wearing a baseball cap backward and jean overalls.

The truck is notable only for the bumper sticker on the back, in Jaguars teal, that says: “Seeeeeeee Yaaaaa.”

Hunter pulls the truck up to a typical Florida pond, with trees dripping Spanish Moss. He goes to the back of the pickup, pulls out a tackle box and fishing pole and walks to the edge of the water, with a rowboat waiting, to engage in his favorite off-field pastime: getting a line wet.

The video, produced by adidas Football is titled: “Episode One: Behind the Wheel.”

It’s part of a campaign by adidas to spotlight Hunter in what the company calls a “world-building campaign designed to showcase both his game-changing talent and his passions off the field.”

Videos will capture Travis Hunter on and off the field

Hunter has made no secret of his love for the outdoors and fishing and the 34-second video captures his essence: just a Florida guy doing what millions of other Floridians do on their weekend or a day off.

adidas Football said the campaign will take fans inside Hunter’s life off the field, “one that bridges his unique personal style, his love for culture, and the energy he brings every time he laces up.”

The news release by adidas Football also said that there will be “plenty of cleat heat moments” during the worldwide rollout.

The campaign can also be followed on X @adidasusfootball and Instagram.
