Rabat – The Indian Institute of Public Administration and the National Center for Good Governance signed today a memorandum of understanding with Morocco’s National School of Administration (ENSA).

The signing of the agreement aims to see the three parties cooperating in the field of training and skills development for civil servants in both countries.

ENSA’s director general, Nada Biaz, and India’s ambassador to Morocco, Sanjay Rana, signed the agreements.

Biaz commended the signing of the deal, emphasizing that this agreement reflects the spirit of collaboration and the shared commitment of Morocco and India to promote excellence in public administration.

It also aims to promote leadership and governance, she said, asserting that the partnership will also enable the development of joint programs and initiatives.

The Indian ambassador described the signing as an important step in the growing ties between the two countries.

The ambassador further recalled the shared vision of India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and King Mohammed VI to deepen ties through institutional partnerships and skills development.

The agreements reinforce the long-standing partnership between India and Morocco under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program.

Over the past decade, India has trained more than 900 Moroccan professionals through specialized programs in fields such as information technology, cybersecurity, water management, accounting, and public administration.

All parties involved in the MoU agreed that the collaboration reinforces both countries’ commitment to South-South cooperation to create a sustainable pathway for technical expertise exchange.
