Rabat– The Egyptian Football Association has sent a message of congratulations and appreciation to the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and to the wider Moroccan football community, commending the outstanding organization and notable success of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

In a letter signed by the association’s chairman, Hani Abu Rida, the federation stated that the tournament’s organization reflects the significant progress Morocco has achieved in hosting and managing major football events. It highlighted that the high standards demonstrated throughout the competition — in terms of organization, infrastructure, and logistical services — go beyond a national accomplishment.

According to the same message, Morocco’s performance represents a source of pride for the Arab world as a whole and stands as a model to be followed in advancing African football toward higher levels of professionalism and excellence.

The letter also praised the warm public reception accorded to the Egyptian national team during its stay in Morocco, noting that this hospitality left a strong and positive impression on all members of the Egyptian delegation. The gesture was described as a reflection of the deep fraternal ties linking the two countries.

The Egyptian Football Association concluded by expressing its sincere appreciation for these efforts, voicing confidence that the leadership of both nations will continue to work together to meet shared aspirations and to elevate Arab football on continental and international stages.
