Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins set for Crown Jewel

In November of last year, Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan made history when they became the first ever Crown Jewel champions, each getting their own special title to mark the occasion. It was said those titles will be contested for at future Crown Jewel events and now we know that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

Indeed, during the Wrestlepalooza post show, Rhodes, fresh off a victory over Drew McIntyre, was confronted by non other than World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, fresh off a defeat in a mixed tag team match alongside his wife, Becky Lynch, against CM Punk & AJ Lee:

Later, Triple H would confirm these two will wrestle each other at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event scheduled for Sat., Oct. 11, 2025, in Perth, Australia, and the Crown Jewel championship will be on the line. There’s something funny about the two of them promoting this match by staring each other down while holding up two titles, neither of which will be defended in this match.

It’s also interesting this is the direction they’re taking these two in right now, with just three weeks to build to the big match.

You like the idea of these two squaring up again?
