Rabat – Moroccan authorities arrested a 24-year-old French national of Tunisian descent at Mohammed V International Airport today.
The suspect was traveling from Tunisia when police identified him as the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by French judicial authorities.
According to officials, the man is suspected of involvement in organized crime, cocaine trafficking, and possession of firearms and ammunition.
Moroccan police confirmed his status through Interpol’s global database and coordinated with the French authorities to ensure proper extradition procedures.
The suspect is now under formal extradition proceedings, while Morocco’s Interpol office in Rabat has notified its counterpart in Paris to oversee the process.
