Rabat – AS FAR secured a big Clásico win over Raja Casablanca at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, taking three crucial points in the Botola Pro Inwi title race.

After a tight first half, the home side broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute. AbdelFattah Hadraf finished the move after a decisive pass from Hrimat to give AS FAR the lead and lift the atmosphere inside the stadium.

Just 14 minutes later, AS FAR struck again. Reda Slim made it 2-0 in the 66th minute after being set up by Hammoudan, with players celebrating together on the pitch while supporters in the stands responded with loud chants and flares.

The match was also marked by tensions during the game, as clashes broke out between rival supporter groups and among Raja fans. Security forces intervened following disturbances, overshadowing parts of one of the most anticipated game of the domestic season.

Raja Casablanca pushed back and got one goal back in the 78th minute when Adam Ennafati converted from the penalty spot, setting up a tense finish. But AS FAR stayed solid in the closing minutes and held on for an important victory.

The result moves AS FAR up to second place in the standings with 35 points. MAS remain top with 37 points, while Raja Casablanca drop to third with 33 points as the title race remains wide open.
