    Andrew Thomas continues to miss practice

    The New York Giants took the field on Wednesday for their first of three practices ahead of a Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

    Beforehand, head coach Brian Daboll updated the status of several injured players, including left tackle Andrew Thomas (foot), who was inactive against the Washington Commanders.

    Daboll said Thomas would sit out on Wednesday as part of his rehab plan. They hope to get him back on the field over the next two days, putting his Week 2 status in doubt.

    “Making good progress,” he said.

    In addition to Thomas, nose tackle Dexter Lawrence missed practice due to the birth of his child. He is expected back at team facilities on Thursday.

    Wide receivers Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson were limited in practice on Wednesday, but Daboll doesn’t think either injury is serious.

    “It should be OK,” he said of Nabers.
