    Algeria team news

The North Africans arrive confident as the reigning champions, after finishing at the top of their group, totally unbeaten, after strong wins against Bahrain and Iraq, and a draw with Sudan.

They have found a perfect balance between scoring goals and defending well so far in the tournament, and they are heading into the quarterfinals hoping to keep that great momentum going

The team has been training since Wednesday after their win over Iraq. Coach Madjid Bougherra said there will be some absences for the next match but that he trusts his players to rise to the challenge.

“We know how to deal with our problems and have the solutions.”

“We are aiming at giving our best and delivering the performance needed to continue our progress in the tournament,” he said.

Tactically: Algeria usually lines up in a really organized formation. They like to control the flow of the game by keeping possession, but they’re also super quick to switch into attack mode. They have this great mix of being disciplined and staying in shape, while also being creative and dangerous going forward and that balance is exactly what’s made them so successful in this tournament so far.

    UAE team news

The United Arab Emirates have surprised many with their resilient run into the quarter-finals. They advanced from Group C by drawing with Egypt and beating Kuwait, despite a setback against Jordan. Their qualification was secured thanks to consistent teamwork and sharper finishing in key moments.

Coach Cosmin Olăroiu has been stressing the importance of belief and motivation. He keeps reminding his players to tap into their experience. The team has also brought in some promising younger players who are quickly learning the ropes and proving they belong at this level.
