Rabat—Ticket sales for Morocco’s upcoming friendly against Ecuador opened on Friday, February 13, giving fans their first chance to secure seats for one of the Atlas Lions’ preparation matches ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation made tickets available online from 6 p.m. through the dedicated platform FanZone.pro, with prices set between €40 and €100 depending on seat category. All tickets are being sold digitally, and fans must complete their purchase and download their passes through the official system.

Morocco will face Ecuador on Friday, March 27 2026, at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, home of Atlético Madrid. Kick-off is scheduled for 9:15 p.m. local time.

The match should attract strong interest from Moroccan fans based in Spain and across Europe, with lower-priced categories likely to sell quickly. Organizers have advised fans to rely only on the official ticketing platform and avoid unofficial resale offers.

Head coach Walid Regragui has chosen to face two South American opponents during the March international window to simulate the intensity and tactical demands Morocco will experience at the World Cup. The Atlas Lions will be in Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland and Haiti, making physically competitive preparation matches a priority.

    Second friendly scheduled against Paraguay

A second friendly is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 when Morocco will face Paraguay at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens, France. Kick-off for that match is set for 8 p.m. local time.

While ticket sales for Morocco–Ecuador have already begun, details for the Morocco–Paraguay match are expected to be announced by the federation in the coming days.

Both friendlies form part of Morocco’s structured preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Several months remain before the tournament, so the March games will allow the coaching staff to test combinations, assess squad depth and adjust tactical plans against South American opposition.

Interest in Morocco’s matches has been very high following the team’s recent international performances and growing expectations ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
