Rabat – Al-Ittihad’s striker, Youssed En-Nesyri, is set to undergo medical examinations this Sunday after sustaining an injury during the match against Al-Hazm in the 27th round of the Saudi Pro League.

According to the Saudi newspaper “Arriyadiyah”, Youssef En-Nesyri, who exited the field in the 90th minute and was replaced by Awad Al-Nashri, is dealing with a muscle injury. A medical examination will determine his rehabilitation plan ahead of Al-Ittihad’s next clash against Neom FC on Wednesday.

The Moroccan striker is expected to miss multiple games, as Saudi media reports indicate that he has only participated in individual training sessions, without rejoining the full squad.

En-Nesyri’s absence comes at a pivotal moment for Al-Ittihad, as the team depends on the Moroccan forward’s presence amid a demanding league schedule and intense competition.

The striker had also been absent from Morocco’s most recent national team camp led by coach Mohamed Ouahbi, during which the Atlas Lions faced Ecuador and Paraguay in friendly matches as part of their preparations for future tournaments.

Youssef En-Nesyri is scheduled to undergo medical examinations on Sunday at a specialized center in Jeddah
