Agadir – Stellantis Maroc and Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group have signed a partnership agreement to facilitate access to financing for electric micro-mobility solutions targeting farmers and rural communities.
Through its subsidiaries Tamwil El Fellah and ARDI Microfinance, Crédit Agricole du Maroc will offer tailored financing solutions adapted to beneficiaries’ income profiles and activity types.
The initiative aims to reduce financial barriers and promote inclusive access to professional mobility tools in rural areas.
“Stellantis Morocco and the Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco, through its subsidiaries Tamwil El Fellah and ARDI Microfinance, announce the signing of a partnership agreement aimed at facilitating access to financing for the FIAT TRIS,” Stellantis said today in a press statement.
The FIAT TRIS is positioned as a versatile solution for a range of uses, including transporting produce from farms to markets, moving agricultural equipment and inputs, supporting cooperative logistics, and facilitating local distribution for small-scale traders, it explained.
“This partnership with the Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco is fully aligned with our commitment to making practical mobility more accessible, particularly for farmers and those working in rural areas,” said Stellantis Morocco CEO Yves Peyrot des Gachons.
“The FIAT TRIS, and especially its Cargo Box version, provides a concrete solution to the needs on the ground. Thanks to this financing mechanism, we are removing a major obstacle to its adoption,” he added.
For his part, chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole du Maroc Mohammed Fikrat renewed his company’s commitment to the advancement of social justice across Morocco. “Through Tamwil El Fellah and ARDI Microfinance, our Group reaffirms its commitment to financial inclusion and supporting the development of the agricultural and rural sectors,” he argued.
“This partnership with Stellantis Maroc allows us to offer beneficiaries tailored financing solutions to improve their mobility through electric vehicle solutions offered by Stellantis, strengthen their economic activity, and support the sustainable development of rural areas.”
