Steelers HC Mike Tomlin on the loss: 'We stunk it up tonight. We'll be back.'

There haven't been many times over the course of Mike Tomlin's tenure as the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach where we've seen him as irritated as he was after Sunday's blowout loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Tomlin had no interest in addressing anything specific about the loss in terms of players, but his confidence in this team hasn't wavered, and he declared the Steelers will be back.

Tomlin was blunt in laying out the issues with the offense, including the fact that the offense didn't convert a third down until the middle of the fourth quarter. Pittsburgh's offense only mustered 221 passing yards, 91 of those going to running back Jaylen Warren between 70 rushing and 21 receiving.

Reporters wanted Tomlin to go into details about the poor performance by quarterback Aaron Rodgers but Tomlin didn't take the bait. Instead, he snapped at the media, calling them out for the questions. Rodgers had his worst game of the season with 161 passing yards. Rodgers also threw two interceptions and was sacked in the end zone for a safety.

There's not time to sit around and feel sorry for themselves. Pittsburgh has to come back home and play the Cincinnati Bengals for the second time in five weeks. The Bengals upset the Steelers 33-31 back in Week 7.
