Rabat – Mohamed Ouahbi, coach of Morocco’s U‑20 national team, has tipped the Moroccan “B” squad to win the upcoming Arab Cup in Qatar.

Confident in the team’s depth and attacking strength, he singled out Abderrazak Hamdallah and Tarik Tissoudali as the players most likely to finish as top scorers.

In an interview with Al Kass channel, Ouahbi stated, “Morocco will be Arab Cup champions. Hamdallah or Tissoudali will be the top scorer because they are excellent strikers.”

He added that the Moroccan squad is strong enough to claim the award for best attack in the tournament. At the same time, he predicted that Jordan could be the surprise team, capable of upsetting expectations and challenging bigger nations.

Ouahbi also highlighted individual talent within the Moroccan ranks, noting that the award for best player would likely be contested between Mohamed Rabii Harimat and Tissoudali. Both have shown consistency and quality, and he believes their performances could be decisive in Morocco’s campaign.

The Arab Cup will take place in Qatar from December 1 to 18, 2025. Morocco, coached by Tarik Sektioui, will compete in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia.

The group will also feature the winners of Oman vs Somalia and Yemen vs Comoros. With a mix of experienced stars and promising young players, Morocco’s squad is considered one of the strongest in the competition.
