Rabat—Morocco’s Neil El Aynaoui was forced to continue under the watchful eyes of fans after a frightening moment in the 65th minute. The Atlas Lions’ midfielder jumped to contest a header in the penalty box, only to collide mid-air with a Senegalese player.

The challenge left him bleeding, causing concern among Moroccan fans, but he was quickly bandaged and remained on the pitch, showing remarkable resilience.

El Aynaoui has been a key figure for Morocco throughout the tournament. His tireless work rate, composure under pressure, and ability to drive attacks have made him central to the Atlas Lions’ midfield, especially in tough matches against West African sides. His bravery in that moment, putting himself in the heart of the box at such a critical time, again, showed just how vital he is to the squad.

Now, all eyes will be on him to see if he can continue at full strength for the rest of the final. His presence on the field could make all the difference as Morocco pushes for continental glory.
