Rabat – Moroccan international player Munir El Haddadi stated that the Moroccan national team possesses a group of talented players capable of delivering a great performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In remarks to  DAZN, El Haddadi emphasized that the Moroccan national team has many young, high-quality players with great talent, whose potential has become increasingly clear in recent matches. “I believe the Moroccan national team has a very strong lineup and excellent players.”

“As we have seen in the past, they performed well,” El Haddadi said. “They may not have had luck on their side at times, but they reached the furthest point.”

“I see that they have a strong team, and if things go well, they can reach the World Cup final and even win the title,” the Moroccan player added.

When asked about a possible final between Spain and Morocco and what his stance would be, he answered: “I wish victory to the better team.”

As the World Cup approaches, the Moroccan squad continues to build on the momentum of their historic 2022 run in Qatar, a campaign that marked the start of a new era. Veterans like El Haddadi backing the next generation further reinforces the growing belief in the team’s potential across the global football scene.
