Rabat – The Moroccan U17 national team finished their UNAF Tournament campaign with a 3–1 victory over hosts Libya in Benina Martyrs Stadium in Benghazi, securing the title and finishing unbeaten with four wins from four matches.

Today, the national team dominated the match from start to finish, with coach Tiago Lima Pereira giving opportunities  to several players who had seen limited playtime in previous games.

Adnan El Boujjoufi opened the scoring in the 2nd minute before adding a second goal in the 55th, while Adam Boughazir also found the net in the 45th minute.

The tournament took place in Libya and featured U-17 teams from North Africa, highlighting intense games among young talent.

The Moroccan team claimed the title early, after beating Egypt 2–1, finishing the group stage with a perfect record of nine points from three matches, remaining unbeaten.

Their perfect record features wins over Tunisia (2–0) and Algeria (3–0), showcasing their complete dominance throughout the tournament.

After being crowned champions, Morocco’s U-17 team will now focus on defending their African title at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be held in Morocco.
