    Man Who Jumped from Casablanca’s Police Headquarters in Suicide Attempt Dies

    Rabat – Police announced today that the individual who attempted to commit suicide by jumping from an upper floor office at Casbalanca’s national judicial police brigade has died.

    A security source confirmed the news, saying the man passed away at the hospital.The man jumped from the window, sustaining serious injuries that led to his death. An autopsy is underway to determine the exact fatal injury, the source added.

    Earlier today, Morocco’s news agency announced that police opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding a suicide attempt inside its headquarters in Casablanca.

    Preliminary findings said the man who attempted to suicide was the subject of an ongoing investigation, but did not specify the alleged felony he was being interrogated about.
