Morocco, during the “Tech Converge” event held on Tuesday at the Onomo Hotel in Casablanca, brought together international universities, academic partners, students, and media professionals.

This expansion comes amid growing demand among Moroccan students for international education opportunities and better career prospects. Morocco is currently Africa’s third-largest outbound student market and the top source of international students in France, with over  43,000 enrolled, representing around 10% of the total international student population.

On this occasion, Leverage Edu introduced its integrated platform “LEAI,” an AI–powered system designed to support students throughout every stage of their international journey, from university search and applications to visa processing, pre-departure preparation, and post-study career integration.

Commenting on the launch, Founder and CEO Akshay Chaturvedi said that Morocco holds a “strategic position at the crossroads of Africa and Europe,” highlighting the rise of a new generation of globally oriented, digitally skilled Moroccan students.

Chaturvedi also pointed to the importance of building “a trusted, end-to-end ecosystem” capable of supporting students from early aspirations through academic admission to successful workforce integration.

The company relies on an AI-driven operating model that enables personalized guidance, application optimization, and decision support, leveraging a global network of partner universities across Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada. These partnerships cover a wide range of fields, including STEM, business, and technology.

Beyond university admissions, the platform also offers accommodation support and career services, including internships, networking opportunities, and job fairs that connect students directly with international employers.

Through its “Leverage Careers” arm, the company is also developing large-scale workforce mobility solutions, linking qualified talent with global job opportunities in high-demand sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and education, while providing end-to-end support covering preparation, placement, and administrative processes.

The Morocco launch reflects Leverage Edu’s broader strategy to support the evolving landscape of global student mobility, particularly in high-growth markets across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.

Currently operating in 28 countries with a team of over 1,100 professionals, Leverage Edu has positioned itself as a leading global player in academic and professional mobility, with strong student outcomes and high satisfaction levels.
