Italian Reports Link Hakimi’s Name to Secret Nightlife Probe

Rabat – A new development has emerged in the ongoing investigation into alleged secret nightlife gatherings in Milan, with Italian media reporting that several footballers’ names have appeared in documents tied to the case.

According to Il Giornale, investigators have identified references to players in communications linked to a suspected escort network.

Importantly, no formal charges have been filed against any of the individuals mentioned, and the inquiry remains in its early stages.

Sources stressed that the appearance of names in the files may stem from indirect contacts or incidental references rather than direct involvement.

Authorities have urged caution in interpreting the leaks, which have already generated significant attention inside and outside Italy.

Among the names cited were Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi and high‑profile players such as Rafael Leão and Milan Skriniar.

The reports suggest their names surfaced in connection with keywords tied to clubs based in Milan, where they currently play or have played in the past.

Other footballers mentioned include Olivier Giroud, Philippe Coutinho, and Dusan Vlahovic, as well as individuals identified through nicknames or indirect references, one of whom is believed to be Alvaro Morata. Rising Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori, now at Arsenal, also appears on the list.

The investigation has widened to cover players from different Serie A clubs, reflecting what officials describe as the network’s reach across football circles in Milan.

Additional names such as Gianluca Scamacca and Matteo Ruggeri have appeared, with some documents noting requests for private gatherings, though without confirmation of direct participation.

Authorities have stressed that the inclusion of any player’s name in the paperwork does not equate to wrongdoing.

At this stage, the case is still being examined, and no legal action has been taken against those mentioned.

Even so, the media fallout has been considerable. The presence of well‑known figures, including Hakimi, has drawn international coverage and placed the players under public scrutiny despite the absence of formal accusations.

For now, investigators continue to review the evidence, while clubs and players await clarity. The situation shows how quickly reputational risks can spread in football, even when the facts remain uncertain.
