Inwi Money, Wafacash Join Forces to Expand Access to Financial Services

Marrakech – Inwi Money, a subsidiary of Moroccan operator Inwi, and Wafacash signed a partnership on Wednesday to expand access to financial services in Morocco and support the country’s digital economy.

The signing of the partnership took place on the second day of GITEX Africa 2026 in Marrakech.

The partnership’s goal is to distribute Wafacash’s services through Inwi Money’s network, which now includes more than 4,000 agents across Morocco.

The initiative will enable both parties to enhance their range of financial services for Moroccans, simplifying accessibility, as well as strengthening the presence of financial services in high-demand areas by relying on a dense and expanding network.

Inwi Money said the partnership comes within the framework of its strategy in delivering innovative, high-value services, supporting the growing digital usage in Morocco.

The operator added that the cooperation also marks a new step in strengthening its position as a key multi-service financial platform and expanding financial inclusion in the country.

Through the partnership, Wafacash is expected to benefit from the fast and wide reach of Inwi Money’s network to boost its services across Morocco, by enhancing its proximity to customers and helping meet the rising demand for simple and reliable financial services.

The partnership came after Inwi’s launch of the 5G network for industrial use on Tuesday.
