Rabat – Achraf Hakimi was among several Moroccan figures who visited Ambassador Samira Sitaïl at the Moroccan Embassy in Paris on Sunday
A photo from the meeting quickly spread across social media, showing Hakimi alongside actor Roschdy Zem, comedian Gad Elmaleh, humorist Malik Bentalha, and magician Kamel. Also present was Samir Addahre, Morocco’s ambassador to UNESCO.
Tous nos remerciements vont à ces étoiles #marocaines qui brillent en #France dans le monde du #sport et de la #culture.

The image carried strong symbolism. It reflected the success of Moroccans in France who have reached the highest levels in sport, cinema, comedy, and culture, while staying connected to their roots.
Hakimi, a Champions League star, stood next to artists who fill Parisian theaters and appear on the big screen, all representing the same Moroccan identity abroad.
The embassy used the gathering as proof of the lasting bond between Morocco and its diaspora.
This connection is not only cultural but also diplomatic, showing how Morocco’s influence extends through the achievements of its people worldwide.
Hakimi’s presence gave the meeting a special resonance. As one of Morocco’s most celebrated athletes, he embodies the pride of the nation on the football pitch, while his fellow guests carry Moroccan talent into other fields.
