It’s official: Feyenoord Rotterdam have signed Moroccan U17 international Adnan El Boujjoufi, who has committed to the Dutch club until June 2029.

The 16-year-old striker arrives from the Go Ahead Eagles academy, where he quickly built a reputation as one of the most exciting young forwards in Dutch youth football.

El Boujjoufi’s numbers this season explain the attention he has been receiving.

He scored 4 goals in 12 league matches with the Go Ahead Eagles U17 team, proving his reputation as a natural finisher with strong consistency in front of goal.

On the international stage, he has also been decisive for Morocco U17, scoring 4 goals in just 3 appearances.

Move to Feyenoord and development plan

Described as a powerful and clinical striker, El Boujjoufi is considered a “goal machine” in Dutch youth football circles.

He has the physical strength and strong positioning with an instinctive finishing ability, making him a constant threat inside the box.

The transfer is his first major career step, with Feyenoord winning the race for a player who had already attracted attention from several clubs due to his maturity and scoring efficiency.

He’s expected to initially join the Feyenoord U19 squad, where he will continue his development within one of Europe’s most respected youth systems.

El Boujjoufi’s signing is one more indicator of the growing presence of Moroccan talents in top European academies, particularly in the Netherlands, where scouting networks continue to identify promising players early.

Feyenoord’s deal represents a long-term project built on potential, with the club confident in his ability to progress toward senior football over the coming years.
