The Denver Broncos will be missing two starters when they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) and tight end Evan Engram (back) have been ruled out for Week 3 after not participating in practice this week. Engram was previously hindered by a quad injury, but he played in both of the team’s first two games of the season. Greenlaw is yet to make his Denver debut.

The Broncos’ remaining healthy tight ends are Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull.

Justin Strnad (foot), who has filled in for Greenlaw over the last two games, has been cleared to play after fully participating in Friday’s practice.

In addition to Alex Singleton, Greenlaw and Strnad, Denver also has undrafted rookie Karene Reid on the active roster. One of the team’s practice squad linebackers — Garret Wallow, Levelle Bailey or Jordan Turner — will likely be elevated to the game-day roster this weekend.

The Broncos’ complete injury report can be seen below.

Sunday’s game (2:05 p.m. MT) will be regionally televised on CBS (view the TV broadcast map). Denver is considered a slight underdog in Week 3.
