Rabat – Crown Prince Moulay Hassan attended Morocco’s semifinal match against Nigeria at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, wearing the national team jersey.

His presence added excitement to the high-stakes game, as fans welcomed him with cheers and took photos from the stands. The prince’s support came at a key moment in Morocco’s campaign to win their second Africa Cup of Nations title, their first since 1976.

This marks the third time the Crown Prince has attended a match during AFCON 2025. He chaired the opening ceremony and was present for Morocco’s first game against Comoros, where he performed the ceremonial kickoff.

He later attended the round of 16 match against Tanzania alongside Princess Lalla Khadija. His continued attendance shows strong royal support for the Atlas Lions.

AFCON 2025 is more than just football for Morocco; it’s a chance to show the country’s ability to host major events and bring people together. The prince’s appearance at the semifinal reflects that spirit.

Morocco is chasing a second continental title, their first since 1976. The support of Prince Moulay Hassan shows unity and national pride as the Atlas Lions aim for a strong run on home soil in this important tournament.
