Rabat – Bayern Munich officially clinched their 35th Bundesliga title on Sunday after a commanding 4-2 win over VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena.
This victory marks Bayern’s 13th championship in 14 years, after Bayer Leverkusen ended 11 years of Bavarian dominance in the 2023/24 season by winning the Bundesliga with an unprecedented unbeaten record.
Despite falling behind to an early Chris Führich goal, Bayern Munich secured the title with a dominant first-half surge.
The Bavarians flipped the match by scoring three goals in just six minutes through Raphael Guerreiro in the 31st minute, Nicolas Jackson in the 33rd, and Alphonso Davies in the 37th, before Harry Kane found the net in the 52nd minute.
After deflating Stuttgart’s momentum, Bayern remained in complete control for the rest of the game, executing their plan perfectly to clinch the championship while resting key players for upcoming fixtures.
The victory pushed the Bavarian giants 15 points ahead of second-placed Borussia Dortmund, securing the title with four games to spare.
Bayern’s attack has been unstoppable this season, leading the Bundesliga with 109 goals in just 30 matches. Under Vincent Kompany, the team plays a high-speed style that uses both creative playmaking and incredible pace on the wings to overwhelm defenses.
This victory keeps Bayern’s hunt for the Treble on track. Their next big tests will be a Champions League clash against the defending champions, Paris Saint-Germain, and a German Cup semifinal showdown against Bayer Leverkusen.
