Morocco forward Ayoub El Kaabi has secured a place in the top 10 of the most productive attackers in world football.

The latest ranking from the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) places the Atlas Lions striker ninth among the top international scorers of the decade so far.

El Kaabi has scored 50 goals between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2025.

The IFFHS ranking counts goals scored for national teams and in continental or international club competitions recognized by FIFA and regional confederations. Domestic league goals do not count.

What sets El Kaabi apart is his steady output in high-level matches. He scored 29 goals in continental competitions with his clubs and added 21 goals with Morocco’s national team.

His numbers reflect a striker who shows up in major fixtures and carries responsibility in front of goal.

The list is led by Erling Haaland with 91 goals. Kylian Mbappé follows with 85, while Harry Kane comes in third place with 82.

The ranking also includes Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Robert Lewandowski, names that have shaped modern football. El Kaabi now stands among these footballing giants.

For Morocco, this recognition carries weight. It confirms the growing presence of Moroccan players on the international stage and reinforces El Kaabi’s status as a key figure in the national team’s attack.
