Amine Adli Nominated for AFC Bournemouth Player of the Month

Moroccan international Amine Adli has been nominated for AFC Bournemouth’s Player of the Month award for February, recognizing his growing impact at the Premier League club.

The 25-year-old attacker earned the nomination after a series of solid performances for AFC Bournemouth during the month. Adli featured in four Premier League matches in February, scoring one goal and providing one assist as he continued to make an impact in the squad coached by Andoni Iraola.

His standout moment came on February 10, when he scored a crucial goal in Bournemouth’s 2–1 victory over Everton F.C. Earlier in the month, Adli played the full 90 minutes in a 1–1 draw against Aston Villa F.C. before starting again in a goalless draw against West Ham United F.C., where he remained on the pitch for 66 minutes.

He also made a late substitute appearance in a 1–1 draw against Sunderland A.F.C. at the end of the month.

Adli competed for the February award alongside three teammates: midfielder Ryan Christie, goalkeeper Đorđe Petrović, and defender Adrien Truffert.

After joining Bournemouth from Bayer Leverkusen for €29m in August 2025, Adli initially experienced a quieter start to life in England.

However, his performances in recent weeks have seen him grow into a regular contributor in Iraola’s attacking setup and have consistently troubled defenses from the left wing.

The Moroccan forward had already delivered several decisive moments previously this season. His February form follows a “magical” January where he scored a 95th-minute winner against Liverpool.

His February nomination serves as a testament to Adli’s rising status in the Premier League.
