Achraf Hakimi Taken Off at Halftime in Minor Injury Concern

Rabat – Achraf Hakimi caused some concern today after being substituted at halftime during Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 match against Angers.

The Moroccan international started as usual on the right side but appeared to feel discomfort during the first half after one of his trademark forward runs.

Around the 35th minute, Hakimi seemed uncomfortable following a sprint and briefly looked toward the bench. Although he stayed on the pitch until the break, he did not return for the second half.

The coaching staff chose to replace him at halftime as a precaution, avoiding any unnecessary risk with an important part of the season still ahead.

Hakimi’s ability to continue until halftime is seen as a positive sign, suggesting the issue may not be serious.

Initial reports described it as a light alert rather than a significant injury, with no immediate indication of a long absence.

The substitution naturally drew attention because Hakimi remains one of the most important players for both club and country.

With major fixtures approaching in the coming weeks, managing his physical condition is essential. His pace, energy, and huge influence on matches from the right flank make him difficult to replace.

Fans in Paris and Morocco will now wait for any official update, but the first reaction around the situation has been relatively calm.

For now, it appears to be a precautionary change rather than a serious setback for Hakimi.
