Paris Saint-Germain welcome Bayern Munich to the Parc des Princes for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

PSG come into this tie in control domestically, sitting top of Ligue 1 with a six-point lead and building momentum after their latest 3-0 win over Angers. Luis Enrique’s squad look balanced, fresh, and increasingly confident at the right moment of the season.

Bayern arrive with even stronger momentum. Already crowned Bundesliga champions, they are unbeaten in 19 matches across all competitions and just pulled off a huge 4-3 comeback against Mainz. Confidence is high, but their physical toll is real.

Recent history leans heavily in Bayern’s favor. The German side have won 4 out of their last 5 matches against PSG, including a 1–2 win in November 2025.

    How & Where to Watch

The match will be broadcast on Canal+ Foot, Canal+ Afrique and beIN Sports MENA.

    PSG Team News

PSG approach this game with encouraging updates. Vitinha has recovered from a heel inflammation, returned to full training, and is expected to start.

Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes, both recently carrying minor knocks, trained normally and are also expected in the starting XI.

Fabián Ruiz is back after a long knee injury and made his return this weekend, but he is likely to start on the bench.

The only confirmed absentee is Quentin Ndjantou, still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

PSG’s expected XI (4–3–3): Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes; Vitinha, Zaïre-Emery, João Neves; Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia, Doué (or Barcola).

    Bayern Munich Team News

Bayern arrive with more significant absences, particularly in attack and wide areas.

Serge Gnabry is out for the rest of the season with an adductor tear, although he traveled with the squad. Raphaël Guerreiro is also unavailable for both legs due to a thigh injury sustained against Mainz.

Young talents Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof are ruled out for the first leg with muscle injuries, hoping to return for the second leg.

Jamal Musiala is expected to start despite ongoing ankle discomfort, and Alphonso Davies is fully fit but could start egin on the bench, with Josip Stanišić favored for defensive balance.

Bayern’s expected XI (4–2–3–1): Neuer; Stanisic, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Musiala, Luis Díaz; Kane.

PSG are expected to control possession at home, while Bayern will rely on structure, transitions, and efficiency.
