Rabat – Morocco’s Competition Council has announced receiving a notification regarding a planned economic concentration involving the football club MAS.

The project concerns the acquisition of joint control over Maghreb Association Sportive Fès Football MAS SA by B. Invest Holding SARL, alongside the current shareholder Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès Football.

According to the official notice, the operation falls within the football club management market. B. Invest Holding, a Casablanca-based company linked to the Bouzoubaa Group, operates in the investment sector.

The association MAS Fès Football is a sports body responsible for managing football activities, while MAS SA is the company in charge of running the club’s professional football operations.

The council said interested third parties have 10 days from the publication date to submit their observations. The deadline is set for May 4.

The planned operation aims to bring in a new investor, B. Invest Holding SARL, to share control of Maghreb Association Sportive Fès Football MAS SA alongside Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès Football.

The goal is to strengthen the club’s financial and management structure. The Competition Council is reviewing the deal to ensure it complies with market rules and does not affect fair competition before giving its approval.

MAS is one of Morocco’s historic football clubs, based in Fez. Founded in 1946, the club has won several national titles and is known for its strong fan base and its 2011 CAF Confederation Cup victory.
