Saibari Hints at Morocco Celebration After PSV Seal Eredivisie Title

Ismael Saibari combined pride and perspective after helping PSV Eindhoven secure the 2025-26 Eredivisie title, describing the achievement as “beautiful” while hinting at further celebrations with the national team.

The Moroccan international played a decisive role in PSV’s 27th league title, officially confirmed on April 5. In the crucial match against FC Utrecht, Saibari delivered a great performance with a brace and an assist in a 4-3 victory that effectively sealed the crown.

Speaking to ESPN, the midfielder reflected on the moment while keeping one eye on future ambitions. “This celebration is beautiful, and perhaps I’ll also get a celebration with Morocco later, who knows?” he said.

Saibari’s stats really tell the story of his season. More about the team winning, he was incredibly consistent individually. Putting up 14 goals and 8 assists in just 25 games shows exactly why he became the go-to guy in Peter Bosz’s system.

Under Bosz, PSV’s latest title win is the third consecutive Eredivisie title, secured with five matchdays remaining, making it the earliest title win in Dutch football history. The title secured on April 5th broke the previous national record by three days (held by PSV since April 8th, 1978).

Saibari’s season is one for the storybooks. On top of dominating the league with PSV, he’s just come off the high of being crowned an AFCON 2025 champion with Morocco. But his season isn’t finished yet. His evolution into a leader for the Atlas Lions couldn’t have come at a better time, with the World Cup just two months away.
