    Rabat – As preparations intensify for GITEX Africa Morocco 2026, held in Marrakech at Place Bab Jdid, organizers have published a curated list of recommended hotels and accommodations for international visitors. 

    The selection highlights some of the closest and most convenient places to stay near the exhibition venue in Marrakech, ranging from luxury five-star resorts to more affordable options.

    With thousands of entrepreneurs, tech leaders, startups, investors, and policymakers expected to attend the continent’s largest tech expo, the availability of well-located accommodation has become a key concern for many visitors. 

    The hotels on the list are recommended based on their proximity to the event site, comfort, and international hospitality standards.

    Closest luxury hotels near the venue

    La Mamounia, located just 182 meters from the event venue, stands out as one of the most prestigious addresses in Marrakech. 

    This iconic five-star palace hotel is known for its lush gardens, opulent Moroccan décor, and world-class service. 

    With rates around $2833 per night (MAD 28,330), it offers an ultra-luxury experience that has long attracted celebrities, diplomats, and global business leaders.

    Just steps away, Nobu Hotel Marrakech sits 198 meters from the venue. 

    The five-star property blends Japanese minimalism with Moroccan architecture and is famous for its signature Nobu restaurant and stylish rooftop views of the Atlas Mountains. 

    Rooms start at around $974 per night (MAD 9,740).

    Another nearby luxury option is Jadali Hotel & Spa, located 588 meters from the exhibition site. 

    The five-star hotel offers modern design, a wellness spa, and panoramic rooftop spaces, with prices averaging $860 per night (MAD 8,600).

    High-end hotels within walking distance

    Kenzi Rose Garden, about 734 meters away, is a four-star hotel known for its landscaped gardens and multiple swimming pools. 

    Rooms cost around $990 per night (MAD 9,900 MAD).

    The elegant Le Méridien N’Fis, located 827 meters from the event, offers five-star service and expansive gardens. 

    Rates average $957 per night (MAD 9,570).

    Another luxury choice is Hotel & Ryads Barrière Le Naoura Marrakech, situated 880 meters away. 

    The five-star property combines riad-style architecture with modern luxury, offering rooms and private villas starting at $621 per night (MAD 6,210).

    Nearby, Les Jardins de la Koutoubia sits 912 meters from the venue and offers a classic Moroccan riad experience with rooftop views of the Koutoubia Mosque. 

    Prices start at $721 per night (MAD 7,210).

    For travelers seeking a more affordable but comfortable stay, Dellarosa Hotel Suites & Spa lies 1 kilometer away, with rates around $535 per night (MAD 5,350).

    Premium hotels slightly further away

    Savoy Le Grand Hotel Marrakech, located 1.1 km away, is a five-star resort known for its large pools, luxury suites, and proximity to the Menara Mall. 

    Rooms average $668 per night (MAD 6,680).

    Another prominent choice is Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech, situated 1.5 km from the venue, offering modern conference facilities and upscale rooms starting at $583 per night (MAD 5,830).

    The contemporary Radisson Blu Hotel Marrakech Carré Eden, about 1.9 km away, provides a sleek urban stay with rooftop dining and city views. 

    Rates average $948 per night (MAD 9,480).

    Budget and resort options for visitors

    For attendees seeking more affordable accommodation, Ibis Marrakech Palmeraie offers a three-star option located 6.4 km from the venue, with rooms starting at $58 per night (MAD 580).

    Several high-end resort properties located slightly outside the city center are also recommended for visitors looking for a more relaxed setting.

    Among them is Park Hyatt Marrakech, around 6.7 km away, offering luxury villas and golf-course views starting at $1334 per night (MAD 13,340).

    Ennakhil Marrakech Hotel & Spa, located 7 km away, provides five-star comfort at around $158 per night (MAD 1,580).

    Another boutique palace option is Palais Mehdi, 7.3 km from the venue, with rates around $215 per night (MAD 2,150).

    Luxury travelers may also consider Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf Palmeraie, located 7.6 km away, with prices starting at $392 per night (MAD 3,920).

    Finally, Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, about 13 km from the event site, offers a luxury resort experience surrounded by olive groves and golf courses, with rooms starting at $1182 per night (MAD 11,820).

    Africa’s largest tech expo 

    GITEX Africa Morocco is the African extension of the globally recognized GITEX GLOBAL technology exhibition held annually in Dubai. 

    Since its launch in Morocco, the event has quickly established itself as one of the continent’s most influential tech platforms, bringing together startups, investors, government officials, and global technology companies.

    Held this year from April 7-9, GITEX will come to Marrakech for the fourth year in a row, positioning Morocco as a regional digital hub and gateway between Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. 

    The expo will feature startup showcases, AI demonstrations, government tech initiatives, investment forums, and discussions about digital transformation across African economies.

    As the week draws closer, prospective attendees are rushing to finalize their plans, as anticipation builds for what is expected to be another pinnacle event shaping Africa’s digital future.
