Marrakech – The INEX Chaoui Bois Art Gallery in Salé will present “The Childhood and Life of Al-Farabi” exhibition by internationally acclaimed Kazakh painter Zhanuzak Musapir from February 5-7.

Organized in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Morocco’s Belghazi Museum of Musical Instruments (Dar Al Qadi), this event marks a historic cultural collaboration and the artist’s first presentation in Morocco.

The exhibition reflects INEX Gallery’s mission to foster dialogue between cultures and highlight Morocco as a bridge between East and West.

Visitors will experience a unique artistic journey where philosophical depth meets complex aesthetic expression.

The exhibition showcases Musapir’s pioneering project “From Childhood to Wisdom” (2016–2020), centered on a monumental mural measuring 11.5 meters long by 1.8 meters high.

Comprising five interconnected paintings, the work traces the life of the philosopher Al-Farabi, from his early years to intellectual maturity, through his travels across the great cities of the Orient, including Otrar, Samarkand, Bukhara, Baghdad, and Damascus.

Al-Farabi was a renowned philosopher and polymath of the Islamic Golden Age.

Often referred to as the “Second Teacher” after Aristotle, he made significant contributions to philosophy, logic, music, and political theory, bridging the intellectual traditions of the East and West.
